Scope

This policy describes how MediaPilot at mediapilot.dev handles information when you create an account, generate videos, connect social accounts, and use available publishing features.

Information MediaPilot handles

  • Account information, including your name, email address, account identifier, preferences, and subscription status.
  • Content you submit or generate, including topics, prompts, scripts, captions, images, narration, videos, and publishing or scheduling details.
  • Connected social account information, including account/channel identifiers, usernames, authorization tokens, token expiration, and connection status. MediaPilot receives authorization from the social platform; you enter your social-platform password on that platform, not in MediaPilot.
  • Payment-related identifiers and subscription records provided by Stripe. Payment card details are entered through Stripe’s payment flow.
  • Technical information needed to operate and troubleshoot the service, including request information, errors, and generation or publishing status.

How information is used

MediaPilot uses this information to authenticate users, operate accounts and subscriptions, generate and store requested content, connect the social accounts you authorize, provide available publishing features, troubleshoot problems, and respond to support or privacy requests.

Instagram and Meta information

When you connect an Instagram professional account, MediaPilot requests basic account access and permission to publish content. It stores your account identifier, username, authorization token, and token expiration so it can associate the connection with your MediaPilot account and perform authorized actions. This integration does not request access to your Instagram direct messages or comment-management permissions.

Connecting a social account does not by itself publish a post. Publishing features depend on platform availability, account eligibility, and the permissions you grant.

Service providers and sharing

Information needed to perform the requested service is processed by providers used by MediaPilot:

  • Base44 supplies application hosting, account services, database and file storage, and AI integrations used for scripts or optional generated images.
  • ElevenLabs receives narration text to create audio.
  • Shotstack receives media assets or asset URLs and editing instructions to render videos.
  • Pexels receives search terms used to find stock media.
  • Stripe processes payments and returns subscription and transaction information.
  • A connected social platform receives content and related metadata when a supported publishing action is requested.

Generated media may be stored at shareable URLs. Treat anyone who obtains those URLs as potentially able to view the media. Do not submit secrets or sensitive personal information in video prompts or content.

Service providers and social platforms also process information under their own policies. MediaPilot may disclose information when needed to comply with a legal obligation or protect the service against abuse.

Retention, access, and deletion

Account information, content, connection records, and subscription records are retained to operate the service. You can request access, correction, or deletion by contacting the privacy email above. Requests are verified before changes are made. Information required for legal, accounting, fraud-prevention, or dispute-resolution purposes may need to be retained; we explain applicable exceptions in our response.

We respond to verified privacy requests in accordance with applicable requirements. Deletion requests are handled by our support team rather than an automatic in-app deletion feature. Any retained records remain subject to this policy.

Revoking access on a social platform stops that platform’s authorization. It does not automatically remove all content or account records stored by MediaPilot. Deletion requests should identify whether you want a social connection removed, generated content removed, or your whole MediaPilot account deleted. Posts already published to a social platform may need to be deleted on that platform separately.
